Shop & Enroll’s Growth in 2023
Shop & Enroll continues to help agents thrive in the senior health insurance market, including adapting to new compliance regulations. More and more agents are creating their own site every year and seeing an increase in enrollments.
Agents Actively Using Shop & Enroll
By the end of 2023, 1,477 agents actively used Shop & Enroll for their Medicare sales needs!
MA & PDP Enrollments with Shop & Enroll
Since 2016, the Enroll Now button has helped agents streamline their Medicare Advantage and prescription drug enrollments. It helped Shop & Enroll agents complete more than 32,223 seamless online enrollments during the 2024 Annual Enrollment Period!
In total, we saw more than 53,000 Shop & Enroll enrollments in 2023!
Thanks to our agents’ hard work, we had a fantastic AEP. We reached a high of 1,484 enrollments in one day!
Of agents who were active this AEP and last AEP, those who started using Shop & Enroll this AEP wrote 22 more applications on average. Prior to using Shop & Enroll, the average agent submitted 7 paper apps in the 2023 AEP, and for the 2024 AEP, they submitted 10 paper apps and 9 Shop & Enroll apps.
Our FastTrack feature allows agents to prefill applications for their clients, streamlining the enrollment process.
Once an application is filled out by the client, it can be sent out to the beneficiary or completed face to face. In total, agents completed 8,900 remote and 4,575 in person, improving over our previous totals by 13,420.
Note: This enrollment data only includes carrier applications that Ritter processes. It does not include applications that are processed directly by Ritter’s carrier partners as carrier AEP enrollment reporting times vary.

At the end of the 2023 AEP, there were 34 carriers available for quoting and online enrollment on Shop & Enroll. In 2023, one new carrier joined Shop & Enroll and two existing carriers expanded their product availability on the platform.

Enhancements to Shop & Enroll and the Ritter Platform
During 2023, we made several enhancements to the Ritter Platform to make sales on and off Shop & Enroll easier and help agents comply with the new CMS regulations. We’ve summarized these updates below.
Manage Health Risk Assessments
Ritter agents can now access HRA details on the Submissions tab in the Ritter Platform!
Ritter Docs already features an HRA Instructions section which provides important info for many carriers. We’ve taken this resource a few steps further by including HRA access. Within this view, you have access to everything you need to successfully and easily complete HRAs for all your submissions. Since HRAs can be a time-sensitive task, this new feature is essential for enabling fast and comprehensive enrollment submissions.
This AEP, 45 agents submitted HRAs through the Platform!
Organize Scopes of Appointment
Within your view of submission records, a Scopes column is now visible. This column either allows you to upload a paper or digital SOA. When an SOA is assigned to your submission, you will then be allowed to view or download any linked Scopes.
We hope this enhancement simplifies your process and makes organizing SOAs quick and easy!

Shop & Enroll is a free CMS-approved consumer-facing quoting and enrollment tool agents can use to connect with clients from home, the office, or in person. You can personalize your site with your name, business logo, and contact information. You can also choose your own easy-to-share URL. With this site you can collect electronic Scopes of Appointment, compare Medicare plans with your clients, and directly enroll clients in one of many preferred Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans.
To get a free Shop & Enroll site, an agent must have at least one qualifying contract through Ritter Insurance Marketing. Shop & Enroll is integrated with Ritter’s Platform CRM, so you can do all of your business in one place!
