New to the New Jersey market for 2024, AmeriHealth serves approximately five million members in 13 states and the District of Columbia with quality, award-winning managed care health plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, long-term services and supports (LTSS), behavioral health, and pharmacy benefit management services.

Heading into 2024, AmeriHealth will be utilizing their large network of doctors, hospitals, specialists, and pharmacies. Get a Contract to Sell Anthem/Elevance Health Medicare Advantage

A leader in Medicare, Anthem, now known as Elevance Health, serves more than 2.6 million Medicare members. Their robust product portfolio features MA-only plans, Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plans, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs), Chronic Condition Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs), PDPs, and Med Supps. Through the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s national BlueCard® PPO program, Anthem/Elevance Health could provide your clients with access to 95 percent of physicians and 96 percent of hospitals! For those who aren’t aware, this insurer is the second largest Medicaid company in the nation.

Elevance Health is expanding into 91 additional counties for 2024. This means 93 percent of Medicare eligibles in their footprint will have access to their Medicare Advantage plans. Their D-SNP product line will include an everyday option allowance, which increases options and provides greater flexibility. Be sure to check out their improved dental offerings, combining preventive and comprehensive services; expansion coverages for OTC hearing aids; and simplified branding/streamlined product naming designed to improve customer experience.

For more than 80 years, Capital Blue Cross has served their members by offering health insurance products, services, and technology solutions that help their members live healthier lives. The fourth largest overall Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliated organization, Highmark Inc. and its Blue-branded affiliates offer multiple MA and Part D solutions throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, and West Virginia. Currently, this carrier meets the needs of more than six million members! Highmark is a well-known, competitive carrier that is a favorite of both clients and agents due to their wide availability, diverse product offerings, and robust supplemental benefits!

Looking forward to 2024, exciting developments are on the horizon for Highmark, such as introducing brand-new product designs in several regions to meet the specific needs of clients and unique digital tools geared towards managing chronic conditions at no cost to consumers. They are also expanding their MA, ACA, and D-SNP products into new counties, including the Philadelphia region for ACA. Highmark also has an additional focus on D-SNP products with Highmark Wholecare, giving you easier access to selling those plans.

Get a Contract to Sell Humana Medicare Advantage

Since 1961, Humana has been committed to helping people live healthy and happy. In addition to being named to the 2020 JUST 100 list, Humana ranked number one out of health care providers on the list for its treatment of customers. Most of their affordable MA plans feature additional supplemental benefits vision, dental, and fitness.

Humana’s open network PPO plan is going even bigger in 2024. Your clients can see any doctor in the country — including specialists — all without a referral. Plans will feature $0 copays for hundreds of common prescriptions. Additionally, dental coverage will be available on every Humana plan and their dental network and allowances have been expanded to include more options. The popular Spending Account Card is getting even stronger in 2024. Depending on plan and location, clients can use the Humana Spending Account Card through a Healthy Options allowance, Flex allowance and/or the OTC allowance. New for 2024, all D-SNP plans will feature the Healthy Options allowance and have a monthly rolling balance for unused funds.

Jefferson Health Plans (formerly Health Partners Plans) is a competitive carrier in the central and eastern parts of Pennsylvania. For 2023, they’ve offered low or no-cost MA plans with impressive supplemental benefits like transportation to appointments, dental, vision, and hearing allowances, and more! They provide agents with a comprehensive portal containing eApps, a drug cost estimator, lead capture, and more, which makes selling their competitive MA plans seamless.

There are new perks in store from Jefferson Health Plans for 2024! They are expanding into new counties in NJ and introducing a new Part B Giveback plan to be offered in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties in PA. Additionally, a new Flex Card benefit for dental, vision and hearing expenses is coming to plans, as well as the benefit of covered oral exams and cleanings three time a year.

Interested in another niche name? Strike gold with MediGold! A member of the Trinity Health family, MediGold is known for its high-quality network. This carrier has been offering MA coverage for 25 years and currently serves more than 42,000 members.

If you’re selling in the OH market this AEP, MediGold is a must-have in your portfolio. For 2024, MA plans feature a vision and hearing benefits flex card with a $500 allowance to be spent on out-of-pocket expenses for any covered service, including copays and hardware. Additionally, Genesis Healthcare System will be in-network for Muskingum County. In general, MediGold’s MA plans can have a $0 cost on premium, unlimited PCP visits, copays for Tier 1 or 2 drugs (mail order), medical deductibles, and transportation benefit with unlimited trips.

Not only have they offered a long list of benefits, but they’ve also paid lifetime commissions on most MAPD plans. Their MA network has been the largest MA national network. Their D-SNP footprint has reached 75 percent of dual eligibles throughout the U.S. And, UnitedHealthcare’s drug coverage has been more comprehensive than many stand-alone Part D plans!

UnitedHealthcare reaches 96 percent of eligibles and, in 2024, will offer even more plans designed to fit the different needs of consumers. This carrier is adding more than 80 new plans to their expansive product portfolio, weighted toward LPPOs and $0 premiums.
