Updates to the 2021 AHIP Certification Training You Should Know

The 2021 AHIP Medicare training season will launch on June 22, 2020. Before you dive in to complete this obligation, there are changes to the Marketing Medicare Advantage and Fraud, Waste and Abuse training layout that you need to be aware of.

We highlight these changes below, so you’ll be prepared when June 22 rolls around!

Mandatory Completion of AHIP Review Questions

Users must complete all review questions before moving forward with the training. These review questions will be located at then end of each training module and permit an unlimited number of submissions. Included with the questions will be feedback and sources to further help users understand the training content. The goal for this new requirement is for the questions to serve as a study tool and help users pinpoint areas of the training they may need to focus more time on before the final exam.

Note: Review questions are not counted towards the AHIP final exam and are only for studying purposes.

Streamlined Content & AHIP FAQ Section

The content within the 2021 AHIP training has also been streamlined with inclusion of topic headings to help users navigate the training with ease. AHIP will also be launching a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section on the Medicare website to further assist users with any questions about the training process quickly. If you find your question is not addressed in the FAQ, you can contact [email protected] for assistance.
