Medicareful’s Growth in 2022

Medicareful continues to help agents thrive in the senior health insurance market, including adapting to new compliance regulations. More and more agents are creating their own site every year and seeing an increase in enrollments.

By the end of 2022, 1,488 agents actively used Medicareful for their Medicare sales needs!

Growth in Active Medicareful Agents Over Time

Since 2016, the Enroll Now button has helped agents streamline their Medicare Advantage and prescription drug enrollments. It helped Medicareful agents complete more than 23,768 seamless online enrollments during the 2023 Annual Enrollment Period! In total, we saw 51,279 Medicareful enrollments in 2022!

Thanks to our agents’ hard work, we had a fantastic AEP. We reached a high of 1,211 enrollments in one day!

Agents who were active this AEP and last AEP, but only started using Medicareful this AEP, wrote 16 more applications on average. Prior to using Medicareful, the average agent submitted 13 paper apps in the 2022 AEP, and for the 2023 AEP, they submitted 16 paper apps and 13 Medicareful apps.

Our FastTrack feature has continued to allow agents to send prefilled Medicareful applications to any of their clients recorded in the Platform. In 2022, agents sent 5,114 more FastTrack applications than in 2021, the first year the feature was available!

Enhancements to Medicareful and the Ritter Platform

During 2022, we made several enhancements to the Ritter Platform to make sales on and off Medicareful easier and help agents comply with the new CMS regulations. We’ve summarized these updates below.

Call Recording with CallVault

When CMS enforced call recording for all Medicare agents and brokers, our in-house development team went to work and created an easy way for agents to meet this requirement.

Since its launch, CallVault has allowed agents to securely record and store inbound and outbound calls, including plan presentations. Through AEP, 914 agents generated a unique CallVault phone number through the Ritter Platform. During the busy season, 646 Ritter agents successfully recorded 23,059 calls!

Electronic Scopes of Appointment

Agents gained the option to text and email eScopes within the Clients tab of the Platform in three simple steps:

  1. Select the Request button that appears next to your client’s name.
  2. Enter or select a valid email address or phone number.
  3. Select the method of communication.

Text Prefilled Enrollments

When FastTrack launched in 2021, it allowed agents to email prefilled Medicareful enrollment applications to clients if they had a Shared Client Record. As of July 2022, agents could text these applications to any client through the Platform’s Clients tab. Once an agent started a FastTrack prefilled enrollment, they could easily text the application to their client through a Publish to text button.

In 2022, we saw a total number of 7,578 completed prefilled applications, with 194 being texted!

Medicareful is a free CMS-approved consumer-facing quoting and enrollment tool agents can use to connect with clients from home, the office, or in person. You can personalize your site with your name, business logo, and contact information. You can also choose your own easy-to-share URL. With this site you can collect electronic Scopes of Appointment, compare Medicare plans with your clients, and directly enroll clients in one of many preferred Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans.

To get a free Medicareful site, an agent must have at least one qualifying contract through Ritter Insurance Marketing. Medicareful is integrated with Ritter’s Platform CRM, so you can do all of your business in one place!
