What is a White-List?

A whitelist is a list of E-mail addresses that you can set up to ensure you will receive their email. When you add an address to your "white list," you tell the E-mail system you use not to filter any E-mail from that address.

Email addresses to whitelist

AOL

Full webmail - http://mail.aol.com

  1. Login to your webmail account.
  2. In the left side navigation pane click Contacts
  3. The contacts list will open, click New then New Contact
  4. The new contact screen will load and you will be able to enter our email.
  5. Additionally you can click + Another next to the textbox for the email and enter more Ritter email addresses on the same contact.
  6. Click Create to save your new contact.
  7. At this point you can repeat this to add additional contacts

Basic webmail - http://mail.aol.com/lite

  1. Login to your webmail account.
  2. In the left side navigation pane click Contacts
  3. The contacts list will open, click New Contact
  4. The new contact screen will load and you will be able to enter our email.
  5. Additionally you may enter 1 more Ritter email address on the same contact.
  6. Click Create to save your new contact.
  7. At this point you can repeat this to add additional contacts

  3. The new contact screen will load and you will be able to enter our email.

  1. Login to your webmail account.
  2. The upper right corner, click Options then More Options
  3. On the options screen under Preventing junk email click Safe and blocked senders
  4. On the next screen click Safe senders
  5. In the Sender or domain to mark as safe: textbox enter ritterim.com
  6. Click Add to list >>
  7. In the Sender or domain to mark as safe: textbox enter ritterim.zendesk.com
  8. Click Add to list >>
  9. In the Sender or domain to mark as safe: textbox enter crmodmail.com
  10. Click Add to list >>

GMail

  1. Login to your webmail account.
  2. In the left side navigation pane click Contacts
  3. The contacts list will open, in the left side navigation click New Contact
  4. The new contact screen will load and you will be able to enter our email.
  5. Additionally you can click Add email below the textbox for the email and enter more Ritter email addresses on the same contact.
  6. Click Save to save your new contact. GMail automatically saves as you work so this step may already be completed and button will read Saved.
  7. At this point you can repeat this to add additional contacts

Mozilla Thunderbird

Add our From address into your Personal Address Book:

  1. Click the Address Book button.
  2. Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted.
  3. Click the New Card button. This will launch a New Card window that has 3 tabs: Contact, Address & Other.
  4. Select the Contact tab and you will be able to enter our email
  5. Click OK.

Now white list your Personal Address Book:

  1. From the main drop down menu, select "Tools -> Junk Mail Controls..."
  2. This will launch the Junk Mail Controls window that has two tabs: Settings and Adaptive Filter
  3. Under the Settings tab, update the "White Lists" module by selecting Personal Address Book from the pull down menu and then check mark the box next to "Do not mark messages as junk mail".
  4. Click OK.

Netscape Mail

Netscape Mail Web-Based Email has no filters and spam protection. Therefore, you can enjoy our email without doing anything further, because it will not be mistakenly filtered.

Outlook 2003

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail.
  3. On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.
  4. In the Add address enter: @ritterim.com
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Add again.
  7. In the Add address enter: @ritterim.zendesk.com
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Add again.
  10. In the Add address enter: @crmodmail.com
  11. Click OK.

Others

If you use a Web mail system or email application not listed above, the instructions for white listing our email address will depend on the specific email program you are using. If you access the help files, instruction manual or customer support, there should be instructions on how to do this.

In most cases, just by adding our From addresses: Donotreply@ritterim.com , notifications-support@ritterim.zendesk.com , mail@crmodmail.com , to your address book, safe list, white list or contact list will be sufficient.

If our updates are not getting to your inbox, then we suggest checking your spam folder, bulk folder or junk folder. If you find our email there, you will need to find a way to inform your mail application that it is not spam. Most likely the course of action is to select our email and click on the Not Spam or Not Junk button, if available.
